What a fantastic week of inspiration and innovation! During our special ‘STEAM Week’, each year group took part in lots of fascinating lessons and experiments from the worlds of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Maths.
We saw lots of exciting activities taking place in each classroom throughout the week; Reception had fun with STEAM workplaces in front of the green screen; Year 1 designed and engineered impressive cities from recycled materials; and Year 2 donned their thinking caps to come up with a whole host of inventions.
On the final day of STEAM Week, the girls came to school dressed up ready to take on their favourite STEAM careers. We spotted a wide range of STEAM professionals, from scientists, doctors and engineers to artists, explorers and vets.
We see a very bright, STEAM-filled future ahead for all our pupils.
